Lily French is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master Teacher with more than 10 years experience supporting people’s self-care, healing, and wellness. She earned her MSW from the University of Michigan in 2000, and has been on faculty at the University of Iowa School of Social Work since 2012. She also served as a faculty member at Windemere Institute of Healing Arts from 2005-2011.

Psychotherapy
Clients describe Lily as kind, easy to talk with, perceptive, encouraging, and deeply committed to their well-being. They value her warmth, acceptance, and calming presence, and report feeling safe and understood when exploring sensitive issues in their lives. Her person-centered practice integrates CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, solution-focused and mind-body techniques to support healing at a deeper and more lasting level. Each client's therapy is unique and tailored to their goals.

In a separate massage therapy practice, Lily offers compassionate touch and an integrated approach to bodywork combining eastern and western modalities to support a state of peace, balance, and full health. Her sessions regularly combine Swedish, Tui Na (meridian massage), Reiki (energy healing) and Sound Therapy. Lily believes deeply in the innate ability of people to heal and considers it an honor to do this work in partnership with her clients. Committed to a life of service, she assists people in achieving peace, comfort, relaxation, balance, insight, and authentic living -- the states of wholeness and well-being.
