Our therapists offer traditional psychotherapeutic or "talk therapy" approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and solution focused therapy. Incorporating the whole individual, we focus on challenging negative thought patterns, outdated beliefs and stories or unhelpful behaviors. In addition to focusing on the mind, we incorporate the body into treatment, bringing awareness to where we hold feelings in the body. Therapy sessions may utilize breath work, relaxation techniques, meditation, visualization, or yoga postures.
Natalie offers private yoga therapy sessions and Yoga Group Therapy sessions. Classes are accessible to all body types, yoga abilities and experience. The model she is currently working with combines gentle yoga postures directly followed by Group Therapy work. She has training in trauma informed yoga and incorporates a model which aims to bring awareness to and transform trauma in the mind and body. This powerful model helps participants to connect to themselves while also creating community.
